For my senior capstone project, I created this History of Popular Music Timeline. This project is an interactive timeline displaying the history of popular music from 1958 to the present. The internet is full of interesting information about music history, but rarely if ever can one find a conglomeration of this information in one single web page. Using a variety of sources from magazine archives to the Billboard charts, this timeline is a synthesis of the past 60+ years of music history depicted through photos, videos, major events, album releases, and more, all combined into one interactive infographic.
